What is a Recognised Test Organisation (RTO)?
‘Recognised Test Organisations (RTOs) are GCF Members that have demonstrated they possess the experience, qualifications and systems to assess mobile phones and wireless devices against GCF’s Certification Criteria.”
The GCF RTO scheme is split into 3 separate disciplines:
- Conformance
- Field Trials (FT)
- InterOperability (IOT) RTO’s
TesTime has achieved RTO status for FT and IOT and as such can carry out GCF testing work for Field Trials and InterOperability Testing. To achieve RTO status TesTime has demonstrated its commitment to excellence and consistency through accreditation to the International Standard ISO 17025 (to find out more about ISO 17025 click here).
TesTime’s RTO status can be verified on the GCF website:

What does it mean for our customers?
From January 2013 only GCF RTO’s can carry out testing to be used in GCF declarations. TesTime can therefore help to certify your product using our own RTO status and our conformance RTO partners. Our extensive experience in GCF means we are well placed to help you achieve the accreditation you need with the attention to detail you expect.
